Recognitions and awards for student excellence and versatility

At a special event titled “Student excellence – the shine of UKLO” the University “St. Kliment Ohridski” – Bitola awarded recognitions for student excellence and versatility. The event was entirely dedicated to the best students, those who made themselves distinguished by hard work and success in their academic, as well as extracurricular and creative activities.

The awards were given in three categories to 43 first-cycle students who participated in the competition organized by the University “St. Kliment Ohridski” in cooperation with the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China. The recognitions were awarded for exceptional achievements, which confirms the students’ commitment to success and progress in the academic and professional sphere.

The rector of UKLO, Prof. Dr. Igor Nedelkovski, pointed out that the awarded recognitions represent additional confirmation of the importance of higher education and the dedication of students to their academic and professional future as well as the dedication of UKLO to its students, especially those who stand out with their success and engagement. At the same time, the act is also significant for the University because recognitions play an important role in creating a positive and inspiring atmosphere, which encourages students to develop and be successful in their professional and personal journeys.

The awards for excellence and versatility in studying were presented by the Vice-Rector, Jasmina Bunevska Talevska, while the Vice-Rectors, Cvetko Andreeski and Goran Ilik presented the recognitions for the categories: Highest average in studying and Best paper at the Annual student conference. There is undivided opinion that “Student excellence – the shine of UKLO” is an event that highlights the potential and talent of students at the University “St. Kliment Ohridski” – Bitola and affirms the attention of UKLO to important aspects that improve the quality of education and stimulate the personal and academic development of students.

Seven students were awarded certificates for participation in specific activities: workshops, trainings, projects and courses implemented within the framework of the COLOURS program. During the award ceremony, the academic director of UKLO COLOURS, Prof. Dr. Renata Petrevska Nechkoska, presented a collage of UKLO one-year activities in COLOURS, a program that aims to encourage the development of innovations, multicultural values ​​and cooperation on a global level.

As part of the event, the rector Nedelkovski presented the Acting Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China, Xu Lei, with a certificate of appreciation, and the guest also received a special collection from UKLO COLOURS.

“Student excellence – the shine of UKLO” was held in honor of the awarded students who are an example of excellence, effort and vision. UKLO is proud to have such hardworking young people developing their talents within its ranks. The satisfaction was also expressed that UKLO, with its superior surname – COLOURS, is building a European academy, a European university of the future, in which versatility is valued, respected and equally affirmed.
