The COLOURS Alliance is paving the way for transformative change through its Open Education (OE) Strategy. By preparing students to become active agents of change in their regions and beyond, we are fostering a challenge-based education model that aligns with European values.
In our second year (2025), we are focusing on Open Education, redefining traditional internships into innovative projects. These projects engage international student teams to tackle regional challenges in collaboration with stakeholders, under the guidance of professors from different partner universities. This approach promotes blended mobility and inclusivity, welcoming students of all backgrounds.
For 2025, we have launched exciting OE internship opportunities, featuring at least 15 diverse projects. These involve stakeholders from private companies, NGOs, and public sectors. Some examples (and there are many more):
- National Hydrogen Centre (CNH2) with Renewable energy challenge project (Spain)
- SEGA Kolaicija na mladinski organizacii’s focus on Digital Business (North Macedonia)
- The City of Paderborn (Germany)’s projects on AI and digital transformation
- The space sector of Emilia Romagna (Italy), exploring successful case studies from the space ecosystem in various European countries.
