UCLM presents COLOURS opportunities to pre-university guidance teams

The University of Castilla-La Mancha leveraged conferences for guidance and management teams at pre-university centres to present the educational opportunities it offers its students through the COLOURS Alliance.

As explained during sessions held in Toledo, Albacete, Ciudad Real, Talavera de la Reina, and Cuenca, participation in this network enables UCLM students to strengthen their international profile and acquire knowledge aligned with the European Union’s triple green, digital, and social transition.

During these sessions, the UCLM explained that the Alliance ‘expands the possibilities for training and contact with other university systems through joint teaching and research activities, as well as through new opportunities for mobility and collaboration between students from different countries’. This environment ‘promotes the creation of international academic and professional networks and contributes to increasing the European profile of the studies undertaken at the UCLM’.

The Vice-Chancellor’s Office for International Policy and Global Partnerships, headed by Raúl Martín, explained that the Alliances’ planned initiatives include internships in related companies and institutions, European micro-credentials, collaborative online learning programmes, and combined intensive programmes. Information was also provided on Summer schools, CoLabs, and Hackathons in which students work together with public and business partners to analyse real challenges and propose innovative solutions.
