UCLM strengthens European collaboration at TransformaCLM 2025

The University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM took part in TransformaCLM 2025, a regional fair promoting innovation and cooperation between academia, research, and industry. The event served as a key platform to showcase UCLM’s research potential and to foster connections with stakeholders across Europe.

Representing COLOURS at the event, Pablo Ballesta, CoSpace Officer at UCLM, engaged with companies, institutions, and public authorities to explore new opportunities for collaboration and joint projects. His participation aimed to strengthen the presence of the alliance in regional innovation ecosystems and to promote transnational partnerships within the framework of European cooperation.

UCLM contributed to the fair with two institutional stands coordinated by the Vice-Rectorate for Coordination, Transfer, and Innovation through the Office for the Transfer of Research Results (OTRI). The initiative involved the COLOURS Alliance, the European Projects Office (OPE), the Central Instrumentation Service (SIC), and the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN). Five research groups and several spin-offs presented applied research outcomes and innovative technologies.

Seven additional research teams and the Knowledge Transfer Unit took part in the demonstration area, showcasing prototypes and technological developments in fields such as digital transformation, sustainable industry, and agri-food innovation.

With more than 50 exhibitors — including universities, technology centres, and public and private research organisations — TransformaCLM 2025 has become a regional benchmark for knowledge transfer and collaborative innovation.
