The COLOURS European University Alliance proudly participated in the EAIE 2025 Conference in Gothenburg, Sweden for the very first time. This major milestone gave us the opportunity to represent our alliance, showcase our mission, and actively contribute to the global dialogue on the future of higher education.
With more than 7,000 participants from 106 countries and over 35 European University Alliances represented, EAIE 2025 embodied the spirit of this year’s theme – “GO-create”. It highlighted the power of collaboration, networking, and knowledge exchange in shaping stronger, more inclusive, and innovative universities across Europe and beyond.
Representing COLOURS Alliance on the International Stage
At our booth, the COLOURS team engaged with university leaders, staff, agencies, professors, and researchers, presenting the Alliance’s vision and ongoing initiatives. We also showcased very interesting promotional materials – including Cedevita, a popular Croatian multivitamin drink that comes in a variety of refreshing flavours. This small but unique touch sparked conversations, added a local cultural flavour, and created a welcoming atmosphere for networking.
Building Networks, Partnerships, and Memories
For COLOURS, EAIE 2025 was not only about professional networking but also about creating meaningful experiences. The conference allowed us to exchange fresh ideas, share best practices with other alliances, and build long-lasting partnerships that will contribute to advancing transnational collaboration in higher education.
The Opening Reception at Liseberg – one of Sweden’s most iconic venues – offered a spectacular setting for networking and celebrating the vibrant international higher education community.
Looking Ahead to Glasgow 2026
Our first participation at EAIE was a success, and it is only the beginning. We are already looking forward to continuing the journey at EAIE 2026 in Glasgow, where we will once again represent COLOURS and build on the momentum created in Gothenburg.
