Join the COLOURS Reinforcement Farming Hackathon 2025 at FERIT Osijek and explore how reinforcement learning (RL) and artificial intelligence (AI) can transform the future of smart farming.
This three-day event will bring together creative and tech-savvy students from across Europe to tackle real-world agricultural challenges using reinforcement learning algorithms.
What is the Reinforcement Farming Hackathon?
The Reinforcement Farming Hackathon is a competitive and educational event where teams of 2–4 students develop and train their own RL agents to solve practical problems in sustainable agriculture and precision farming.
Participants will have two full days to work on their solutions, followed by an exciting final-day tournament where teams will compete to showcase the best performing models.
Who Can Participate?
The hackathon is open exclusively to college and high school students who are passionate about technology, machine learning, and agriculture.

- FERIT Osijek provides all computers and equipment.
- Dedicated work and relaxation areas for a productive and inspiring experience.
Prizes for the Best Teams
The most innovative and successful teams will receive cash prizes:
- 1st place: €1,250
- 2nd place: €750
- 3rd place: €500
