The University of Castilla La Mancha organised a meeting and CoLab in Tragacete (Cuenca), Spain from 17-19 July 2024. Focused on Challenge-Based Research & Innovation in Regional Innovation Ecosystems the meeting was designed as a space for dialogue and joint participation between the academia, business sector, public administration and civil society.
The main focus of the meeting was to raise awareness of the COLOURS Alliance among the public, and to propose sustainable solutions, policies and measures to be directed towards provision of support to social transition, environmental and economic development of their regions. International participants from multiple helices challenged innovative approaches to demographic challenges of rural areas in the CoLab. It was a great setting for the COLOURS Alliance to showcase its potential as a revitalising engine for rural communities’ sustainability and prosperity.
