CoLab: How can we create a more inclusive and hopeful society? by HKR

Date: May 15, 2025

Event type: In Person

Status: Closed for application

Kristianstad University, together with our allied partners, the municipality of Kristianstad and Krinova Incubator and Science Park, welcome you to COLOURS digital Co-lab on the topic HOW CAN WE CREATE A MORE INCLUSIVE AND HOPEFUL SOCIETY arranged by Kristianstad University May 15.

In an era where many individuals experience increasing alienation and social exclusion, how can we address the growing sense of hopelessness, lack of opportunities, and disconnection from society? With rising mental health challenges, particularly among young people, and increasing societal polarization, what strategies can foster a more inclusive and cohesive future?

CoLab in multiple stages

The CoLab has been conducted together with the Quadruple Helix in multiple stages ensuring active involvement from all sectors.

The CoLab began with an initial mapping of key challenges (January 23rd), identified by representatives from different areas of society (Quadruple Helix).

The next stage took place locally on March 11th in the local language, bringing together a diverse range of organizations for an inspirational masterclass, followed by discussions on how to collaborate and develop solutions for these challenges.

Welcome to take part in the final phase of the CoLab, to explore the results of the innovative quadruple helix workshops in Kristianstad and join the discussion by sharing your perspectives and experiences of the challenges – How and why is EDI relevant for your university and Quadruple Helix?

Following this, we will host the final phase of the CoLab, where partner universities are invited to participate digitally in English by Zoom. During this session, we will share insights, outcomes, and conclusions from the earlier phases. This final session is open to interested stakeholders and will be conducted in English.
